Manager Cabin Interiors

About the role

The Manager Cabin Interiors will lead the development and research of cabin interior products, supporting Etihad Airways’ interior design strategy. Reporting to the interior design department, you will ensure that new and existing cabin solutions meet commercial, operational and passenger satisfaction goals.

Key responsibilities

• Document and implement product specifications and standards for cabin interiors.
• Benchmark interior products across the fleet and against competitors, creating infographic presentations that tell a clear story.
• Research industry trends, conduct competitor analysis and produce presentations to support departmental strategy.
• Inspect and monitor product performance, working with service teams to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Support product development for scalable manufacturability and consistent high standards.
• Enhance in‑service durability while improving aesthetics and guest‑facing features.
• Assist in RFP evaluations and provide vendor recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transportation, aviation, design or engineering related to aircraft interiors.
