Manager Commissioning – Offshore Wellhead Towers & Subsea Cables

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Manager Commissioning to lead offshore commissioning activities for Wellhead Towers, subsea cables, piping systems and brownfield modifications on a major offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project commissioning execution strategy and priorities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary commissioning activities across mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, control and subsea cable systems.
• Lead pre‑commissioning, functional testing, start‑up, performance testing and handover to Operations.
• Ensure safe, efficient execution in line with client/operator standards, schedule and HSE requirements.
• Manage resources, tools, test equipment and specialist personnel, and monitor progress with recovery actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 20 years of experience, including 5‑8 years in offshore project commissioning.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary offshore commissioning teams.
• Previous experience with ADNOC offshore projects is an advantage.
