Manager Commissioning – Offshore, WHT, Subsea Cable, Piping

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Manager Commissioning to lead offshore commissioning activities for Wellhead Towers, subsea cables, piping systems and brownfield modifications on a project in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and hand‑over of offshore commissioning from preparation through start‑up and performance testing.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities across mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, control and subsea cable systems.
• Develop and implement the commissioning execution strategy, establish priorities and ensure alignment with project schedule.
• Manage resources, tools, test equipment and specialist personnel, and monitor progress with recovery actions as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of engineering experience with at least 5–8 years in offshore project commissioning.
• Proven leadership of multidiscipline offshore commissioning teams, preferably in a PMC/EPC environment.
• Experience with ADNOC offshore projects is an advantage.
