Manager - Inventory Control

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Manager to lead its Inventory Control team for the upcoming integrated resort. The role involves overseeing inventory accuracy, financial postings, and reporting to support the resort’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Inventory Control team, ensuring timely deliveries, scheduled counts and prompt issue resolution.
• Maintain data accuracy in BirchStreet and ensure inventory and financial postings are completed on time.
• Prepare, validate and distribute daily and monthly food cost reports, analyse variances and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Produce month‑end inventory reports for the Operations Controller and corporate reporting.
• Address inventory variances with the warehouse team, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate team performance, provide training and uphold confidentiality and record‑keeping standards.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of managerial experience in inventory control with strong financial acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Management, Finance or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
