Manager – Outreach & Engagement (Dubai Campus)

About the role

The Manager – Outreach and Engagement promotes HCT to the local community by aligning campus practices with community needs, organizing events and marketing activities, and coordinating with Central Services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of campus Outreach and Engagement strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Support development and implementation of policies, procedures and monitor compliance.
• Maintain strong communication with Partnership Central Services and community stakeholders such as business associations, government entities, NGOs and social organisations.
• Identify opportunities to promote HCT through events, marketing, alumni network and community engagement.
• Align campus programmes with community trends and advise management on improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the Outreach and Engagement database covering industry liaison, alumni affairs, events and marketing.
• Identify employment opportunities for graduates through networking with the local community and Alumni Affairs.
• Represent HCT at local conferences and events to raise its profile.
• Manage campus events and marketing activities to ensure consistent messaging and quality standards.
• Negotiate with advertising, marketing and event agencies to obtain best service within budget and guidelines.
• Coordinate local media involvement in line with communications policies.
• Establish and manage a local alumni network and integrate it with the broader HCT alumni system.
• Develop and implement alumni programmes to engage alumni and provide development opportunities.
• Build relationships with alumni to promote graduate employment and reduce job search time.
• Support academic operations by identifying potential employers and work placement opportunities.
• Coach and mentor subordinates regularly.
• Contribute to recruitment and development of UAE Nationals.
