About the role
The Manager of Scientific Computing Support provides hands‑on technical expertise and leadership to deliver advanced scientific computing services to the research community. The role involves designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting HPC, AI/ML, LLM, and GPU‑accelerated workflows while guiding a team that offers user support and training.
Key responsibilities
- Design, optimize and troubleshoot high‑performance computing, AI/ML, LLM and GPU‑accelerated research services.
- Lead and manage a team that provides advanced user support, guidance and training.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability and alignment with researchers’ computational needs.
- Develop AI‑driven tools to improve internal operations and departmental automation.
Required profile
- Hands‑on technical expertise in scientific computing environments.
- Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
Required skills
- High‑Performance Computing (HPC) platforms.
- AI/ML workflow development and deployment.
- Large Language Model (LLM) workload management.
- GPU‑accelerated computing.
