Manager, Strategy and Performance

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Manager, Strategy and Performance within its regional Chief Retail Officer structure. The role covers analyzing business performance, preparing data-driven insights for senior management, running in-depth market analyses, leading special projects and keeping the business on track to meet PnL targets.

Key responsibilities

• Translate group-level goals into localized grocery and retail strategies for various markets
• Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, setting targets for revenue, cost and market share
• Evaluate new business opportunities, market entries and service line extensions such as talabat mart
• Analyze performance metrics, prepare reports for senior management and present clear, actionable recommendations
• Run country-specific analyses to find turnaround, growth and profitability opportunities
• Work with cross-functional teams and develop strategies to improve performance
• Launch new products by developing business use cases and driving implementation
• Help build the yearly budget with local teams and ensure budgets are followed through, pursuing ways to exceed financial targets

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution in a related field (MBA is a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in food delivery, e-commerce or management consulting (subscription-focused experience is a plus)
• Strong finance acumen, including P&L analysis, financial modeling, budgeting and business impact analysis
• Proven stakeholder management experience, preferably in the food tech industry
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams is a plus
