Managing Director – Catering, Events & Facilities Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Managing Director / COO to lead a well‑established catering, facilities management and events business in the UAE. The role demands strong commercial acumen, operational depth and the ability to drive transformation, performance improvement and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall business strategy, objectives and growth plans.
• Provide leadership across catering operations, events, facilities management, business development, finance, HR, procurement and administration.
• Drive revenue growth through new business development, contract acquisition and client relationship strengthening.
• Own P&L performance, profitability, cash flow, budgets and cost management.
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, productivity, margins and overall performance.
• Lead business transformation, restructuring and large‑scale contract oversight, ensuring SLA, KPI and service‑standard compliance.
• Lead major tenders, pricing strategies, contract negotiations and commercial agreements.
• Mentor senior management and operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience as Managing Director, COO, General Manager or equivalent.
• Extensive background in catering, events, contract catering, facilities management or related hospitality services.
• Proven track record managing large, complex P&L and leading turnaround or transformation initiatives.
• Strong commercial understanding of budgeting, profitability, cash‑flow management and cost optimisation.
• Experience overseeing large operational teams and multiple client contracts.
