Managing Director – Restructuring

About the role

FTI Consulting is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Restructuring team in Dubai. You will work on complex financial and operational advisory projects for multinational corporations, private equity sponsors and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define engagement scope, approach and deliverables while managing timelines and budgets.
• Lead business and liquidity reviews, build three‑statement financial models and conduct variance analysis.
• Prepare and present reports and oral presentations to clients and senior leadership.
• Coach and support junior team members and cover senior managing directors as needed.
• Drive business development activities, including pitches, client networking and practice initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive restructuring experience in a consulting environment.
• Degree in a numerate discipline; ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong work ethic, detail orientation and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑based setting.
• Willingness to travel and work on cross‑border assignments.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modeling in Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Arabic language proficiency (preferred).
