Marine Inspector for Infrastructure Projects

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Marine Inspector to support marine and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor marine construction activities, including reclamation, dredging, rock placement, revetments, breakwaters, seawalls, and marine edge protection.
• Verify line, level, alignment, dimensions, and placement of marine works and witness field and laboratory testing.
• Review inspection requests, method statements, material approvals, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with contractors, marine engineers, geotechnical engineers, surveyors, divers, and other site teams.
• Maintain daily inspection reports, photographs, records, and quality documentation, and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in marine construction inspection and supervision on major UAE projects.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
