Marine Sr. Superintendent (LPG)

About the role

The Marine Sr. Superintendent (LPG) will oversee daily vessel operations, acting as the primary liaison between ships and the organization. The role ensures safety, certification compliance, and efficient, economical vessel management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to SIRE/CDI and flag inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Visit vessels for pre‑vetting inspections and conduct audits to identify potential risks.
• Participate in appointing and following up with port agencies to guarantee timely disbursements and invoicing.
• Monitor vessel transits through high‑risk areas, oversee security alerts, and coordinate with service providers.
• Support vessel load and discharge operations in coordination with commercial teams.
• Provide operational, safety, and emergency support to assigned vessels and investigate incidents.

Required profile

• Master Mariner (FG) certificate of competency.
• 3‑7 years of experience as Master on LPG vessels.
• At least 2 years of shore‑based experience as a marine superintendent managing LPG vessels.

Required skills

• Knowledge of LPG vessel operations and safety regulations.
• Experience conducting marine inspections and audits.
• Ability to coordinate with port agencies and security services.
