About the role

Changan MEA is seeking a Market Research Specialist to support its automotive business across the Middle East and Africa. The role focuses on gathering and analysing market intelligence, benchmarking competitor products, and ensuring accurate multilingual communication for automotive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis on automotive trends, new product launches, policies, pricing fluctuations, and industry developments in the Middle East and Africa.
• Perform product benchmarking against competitor models, evaluating function, performance, configuration, and price to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Proofread, translate, and review automotive terminology in Arabic and English, ensuring cultural relevance and professional accuracy.

Required profile

• Native Arabic speaker with strong proficiency in English, capable of handling professional documents.
• Bachelor's degree or higher; majors in automotive, marketing, or languages are preferred.
• Sharp market insight with the ability to capture market movements quickly and use digital analysis tools for conclusions.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational abilities to work efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, familiar with R&D, production, and sales processes.
