Marketing & Corporate Communication Director (Emirati)

About the role

A visionary and strategic leader is sought as Director of Marketing, with proven expertise in Corporate Communications, for a Dubai Government entity. The role shapes and executes marketing and communication strategies that align with the organization's mission, drive engagement and strengthen its brand across multiple platforms and audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies, set annual objectives, KPIs and performance metrics, oversee departmental budgeting and monitor performance.
• Lead the development of internal policies, processes and frameworks, ensuring compliance with standards, governance and industry best practices.
• Plan and run corporate events, exhibitions, conferences and outreach initiatives, and run campaigns that build community awareness and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee integrated marketing, media and advertising campaigns, manage media relationships and keep brand messaging consistent across platforms.
• Supervise publications, reports, promotional materials and digital content, and lead communication on traditional and digital channels.
• Track departmental performance with data and analytics, identify gaps and lead corrective actions.
• Prepare and manage the department budget, monitor expenditures and enforce financial compliance.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning and professional development, and foster a high-performance culture through mentorship and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
