Marketing Director - FMCG

About the role

A leading international FMCG organisation, represented by Gateworth, is appointing a Marketing Director to its regional headquarters in Dubai. The business operates a portfolio of well-established consumer brands and is expanding across the region. The role shapes regional strategy and drives growth through marketing that improves brand visibility, customer engagement and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead integrated consumer marketing campaigns across retail, trade and digital channels to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
• Work with sales, supply chain, product and retail teams so marketing plans support commercial objectives and market share growth.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships, collaborations and promotions to strengthen brand reach.
• Report regularly on campaign performance, including engagement, ROI and contribution to business goals.
• Manage the marketing P&L and budget, monitoring ROI across media, trade and digital channels.
• Lead promotional campaigns, product development initiatives and launch activations, adapted to local market conditions and consumer behaviour.
• Develop market-specific retail and merchandising strategies based on consumer insights and regional dynamics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 8-9 years in a regional marketing leadership role within FMCG, food & beverage or manufacturing.
• Full fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
• Proven track record of integrated marketing strategies across Middle East markets and full ownership of marketing spend.
• Experience in an international organisation, balancing global brand direction with local needs.
• Demonstrated experience supporting brand growth in a product-based manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
