Marketing Specialist

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support the planning, execution and optimisation of marketing initiatives for PR, events and brand communication projects. The role suits someone with strong analytical skills, a passion for storytelling and the ability to create compelling content that raises brand visibility across several platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business and client objectives.
• Support the planning and execution of integrated campaigns for events, PR activations and brand initiatives.
• Carry out market research on trends, competitors and growth opportunities.
• Create content for social media, websites, email campaigns and promotional materials.
• Manage and grow social media channels, keeping the brand voice consistent and tracking performance.
• Produce marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, event materials and newsletters.
• Monitor campaign performance with analytics tools and report regularly on KPIs, suggesting ways to improve ROI and engagement.
• Work with internal teams, media partners, influencers and suppliers, and coordinate external vendors such as designers, printers and digital agencies.
• Assist with promotional plans for events, press launches and client activations, including onsite branding, photography coordination and live social posting.
• Maintain marketing calendars, timelines and asset libraries, and ensure brand guidelines are followed everywhere.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
• 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in PR, events, media or agency settings.
• Strong writing, editing and content creation skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and project management abilities; able to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Digital marketing tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics and email marketing tools.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
