Mason and Painter – Luxury Resort Maintenance

About the role

Join the Engineering team at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa to maintain the resort’s luxury standards through skilled masonry and painting work.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out masonry repairs and maintenance, including plastering, concrete repairs, stonework, ceramic tiling, marble works and surface restoration.
• Prepare and paint walls, ceilings, equipment and other surfaces across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Repair cracks, damaged walls, tiles, flooring and other structural finishes.
• Apply paint, varnish, enamel and other finishes using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Mix and match paint colours, sand, fill, seal and plaster surfaces.
• Assist with installation of floor tiles, vinyl flooring and false ceilings.
• Conduct regular inspections and complete maintenance work orders efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in masonry and painting, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Good attention to detail and focus on quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with basic communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Vocational or technical certification in a related trade is an advantage.
