Mason – Hotel Maintenance (Dubai)

About the role

The Mason will carry out masonry, tiling, plastering and general civil maintenance across Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites. You will help keep guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house facilities and exterior spaces in top condition while supporting the Engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform masonry, plastering, tiling, grouting and concrete repair works throughout the hotel.
• Repair damaged walls, ceilings, floors, walkways, staircases and other finishes.
• Install, replace and repair ceramic, porcelain, marble and granite tiles.
• Carry out minor civil works such as bricklaying, cement rendering, screeding and patch repairs.
• Fix cracks, damaged concrete, expansion joints and waterproofing defects.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
• Assist with room refurbishments, renovation projects and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect finishes, report defects affecting safety or guest comfort, and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Coordinate with other Engineering trades and keep accurate work orders.

• Readiness to perform additional duties assigned by the Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor.
