Material Handling Equipment Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Material Handling Equipment Technician to join Al-Futtaim Technologies’ aftersales team in the UAE. The role involves both workshop and field work, ensuring equipment is repaired correctly the first time to maximise uptime and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting and diagnostics on material handling equipment.
• Diagnose faults accurately, recommend solutions and complete jobs with a first‑time‑fix focus.
• Identify potential issues during service, follow service manuals and checklists, and communicate progress to the Service Supervisor.

Required profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing material handling equipment (preferably Hangcha).
• Valid UAE manual driving licence and good English communication skills.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

• Ability to follow technical manuals and standard operating procedures.
