Material Inspector – DCL Approved

About the role

The role involves working on stormwater, drainage, flood‑alleviation, wastewater and water‑distribution projects in Dubai. You will be responsible for investigations, planning, design, tendering, contract administration and construction monitoring while ensuring compliance with technical specifications and local authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review contractor material submittals for civil and piping works.
• Collect and analyse data for conceptual planning and design.
• Conduct asset condition assessments of materials.
• Prepare material specification reports.
• Assist in project administration – gather information, draft proposals, track costs and produce progress reports.
• Identify non‑conforming materials, generate corrective‑action reports and coordinate responses.
• Collaborate with on‑site and remote teams to deliver project tasks.
• Perform technical feasibility studies and site investigations.
• Liaise with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
• Follow safe work practices and adhere to Stantec quality systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Holder of Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) approval.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
