Maternal & Fetal Medicine Physician

About the role

The position provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for in‑patient and out‑patient populations, focusing on maternal and fetal medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures in the operating room and outpatient department for both emergency and planned gynecologic and obstetric cases.
• Manage delivery room activities, including patient admission, history review, delivery planning, and execution of spontaneous and operative deliveries.
• Respond promptly to emergency consultations and provide outpatient clinic care as assigned.
• Conduct and interpret ultrasound examinations and fetal heart rate monitoring, taking appropriate clinical actions.

Required profile

• Graduated from an approved medical school with internship completed.
• Three‑year residency in Maternal and Fetal Medicine leading to a postgraduate master’s degree or equivalent fellowship approved by the DOH.
• Minimum five years of exclusive obstetrics and gynecology practice since certification.
• Valid DOH license to practice Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
• Excellent written and oral English; basic medical Arabic is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medical ethics.
