Mathematics Teacher – Cycle 3 (Grades 9-12) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

International Community Schools is seeking an inspirational Mathematics Teacher for its Al Mushrif campus in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver engaging secondary‑level mathematics (Grades 9‑12) and contribute to a vibrant, multicultural learning community while adhering to ADEK standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, challenging mathematics lessons that promote critical thinking and problem‑solving.
• Utilise educational technology, including graphing calculators, interactive whiteboards and virtual learning platforms, to enhance student understanding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related quantitative field, with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of full‑time post‑qualification teaching experience in secondary mathematics, preferably preparing students for IGCSE, A‑Levels, AP or IB examinations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with graphing calculators and interactive whiteboards.
• Experience using virtual learning environments such as Canvas or Google Classroom to enhance instruction.
