Mathematics Teacher – Cycle 3 (Grades 9‑12)

About the role

International Community Schools is seeking an inspirational Mathematics Teacher for its Al Mushrif campus. The role involves delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction to secondary students (Grades 9‑12) and contributing to a vibrant, multicultural school community.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to Cycle 3 (Grades 9‑12) students, following international curricula such as IGCSE, A‑Levels, AP, or IB.
• Prepare students for external examinations and assess their progress using data‑driven methods.
• Integrate educational technology, including graphing calculators, interactive whiteboards, and virtual learning environments (Canvas, Google Classroom).
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related quantitative field.
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 2‑3 years of full‑time post‑qualification teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Experience preparing students for IGCSE, A‑Levels, AP, or IB examinations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with cultural sensitivity for an international environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with graphing calculators.
• Use of interactive whiteboards.
• Experience with Canvas or Google Classroom learning platforms.
