Mechanical Design Engineer – HVAC, Plumbing & Fire

About the role

Amar Golden Design L.L.C (AMGD) is looking for a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, code‑compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare design calculations, specifications and coordination drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with Abu Dhabi building regulations and international standards.
• Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers and contractors during the design and construction phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and completeness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically HVAC, plumbing and fire protection.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
