Mechanical Engineer – Contract (Hybrid) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking a contract Mechanical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Abu Dhabi. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both onsite and remotely while contributing to residential and commercial building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for residential and commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with local codes and sustainability standards.
• Create and review mechanical layouts, 3‑D models, and calculation reports using CAD tools.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project management activities, including scheduling, progress tracking, and documentation.
• Participate in site visits, design reviews, and client meetings.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives aimed at improving design methods and project efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles applied to building systems.
• Experience in project coordination and monitoring.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and sustainability considerations.
• Effective communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
