Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding MEP team in Dubai. The role focuses on HVAC and plumbing systems, requiring independent site execution, coordination with consultants and clients, and adherence to UAE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage HVAC and plumbing installation works on site.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Prepare material requisitions and monitor material usage.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and keep project documentation up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of UAE MEP contracting experience.
• Thorough knowledge of complete HVAC and plumbing systems, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Good understanding of UAE codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and project specifications.
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory).
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of material take‑offs, site supervision, and quality control.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
