Mechanical Engineer - Plumbing

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer specializing in plumbing for a well-known Civil & MEP contracting company in the UAE. The role covers plumbing, drainage and water supply works on ongoing building and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the execution of plumbing, drainage and water supply works for the assigned building or zone
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and method statements
• Plan manpower and materials for plumbing activities and track progress
• Coordinate with consultants, other MEP trades and the civil team on site interfaces
• Supervise pressure testing, flushing, commissioning and snagging
• Guide site engineers and foremen and ensure quality and HSE compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of plumbing execution experience in building projects; GCC experience preferred
• Good knowledge of plumbing codes (IPC/UPC) and local authority requirements
• Valid passport with at least 2 years' validity
• Good English communication; Hindi or Arabic is an advantage
• Ready to join at the earliest or within the notice period
