Mechanical Procurement Engineer

About the role

CSCEC Middle East is seeking a Mechanical Procurement Engineer to join its Procurement Department in Dubai. The role involves managing the full procurement cycle for mechanical and auxiliary materials, as well as manpower subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end procurement for project auxiliary and miscellaneous materials, including RFQ preparation, quotation comparison, commercial negotiation, order placement, delivery coordination and supplier management.
• Procure manpower subcontractors and hourly workers, managing RFQs, negotiations, contract finalisation and performance follow‑up.
• Invite qualified bidders, evaluate quotations for compliance with specifications, and produce technical and price evaluation reports.
• Negotiate commercial terms, prepare contract agreements, and secure bank guarantees or performance bonds.
• Monitor market prices for construction‑related materials and stay updated on new materials and technologies.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
