Mechanical Technician

About the role

Everllence is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join its Dubai team. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing industrial and marine equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools to replace defective parts.
• Perform routine maintenance on drives, motors, belts, fluid levels and replace filters.
• Repair mechanical components, pipe systems, plumbing and assemble or install machinery.
• Clean, lubricate and adjust shafts, bearings, gears using appropriate tools.
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints and manuals to plan repair work.
• Operate cutting torches and welding equipment for metal fabrication.
• Record maintenance activities, costs and prepare tools and spares for upcoming work.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in heavy equipment or machinery maintenance.
• Proven experience with industrial or marine equipment.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and machine tools.
• Operation of cutting torches and welding equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints and manuals.
• Hoist and crane operation for heavy component handling.
