Medical Affairs Manager (Clinical Governance)

About the role

The Medical Affairs Manager will lead clinical governance, committee management and physician engagement across SEHA Clinics. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the role ensures high‑quality patient care, regulatory compliance and the successful rollout of key clinical programs.

Key responsibilities

• Chair, co‑chair or serve as a member of medical committees such as M&M, Privileging and Occupational Board committees.
• Support physician privileging, re‑privileging and expansion of clinical scope, maintaining a 100% audit target with no deficiencies.
• Lead bi‑weekly lead‑physician meetings to cascade updates on clinical matters, service expansions and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate special projects assigned by the CMO, ensuring clinical readiness for programs like IFHAS, Well‑Child Visits, Premarital Screening and Obesity Management.
• Collaborate with clinical leads to identify and implement new procedures and service expansions.
• Monitor and achieve Medical Affairs KPI and medical performance metrics while ensuring financial sustainability.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, at the Specialist or Consultant level.
• Proven experience in clinical governance, committee leadership and physician engagement within a large healthcare organization.
