Medical Core System Transformation Lead – Dubai

About the role

The Medical Core System Transformation Lead will own the end‑to‑end modernization of Orient Insurance’s core medical platform, covering policy administration, claims, benefits, provider management and clinical integrations. This senior role drives a digital‑first, scalable solution that improves operational efficiency, member and provider experience, and prepares the organization for future AI and analytics capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design and execution of the medical core system transformation program, acting as the single point of accountability for outcomes and timelines.
• Own transformation across claims adjudication, policy & benefits configuration, provider network management, authorizations and medical pricing logic.
• Partner with medical, operations, finance, actuarial, compliance and provider relations teams to digitize business rules and clinical workflows.
• Manage engagements with core system vendors, integrators and niche solution providers, ensuring design quality and contractual compliance.
• Establish program governance, track milestones, dependencies and risks while coordinating multi‑workstream delivery.
• Ensure the transformed platform meets health‑insurance regulatory, payer and data‑privacy requirements.
• Drive change management, training and adoption, and define metrics to realise value such as speed, cost and accuracy improvements.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in health‑insurance, payer operations or healthcare technology, with proven leadership of large‑scale core system transformation programs.
• Deep knowledge of medical claims, benefits, pricing, provider networks and utilization management.
• Extensive experience in system migration, data conversion, parallel‑run strategies and API‑based integration.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive‑level communication skills, with the ability to lead through ambiguity.
