Medical Laboratory Technologist – Stem Cell Processing & Cell Culture

About the role

Future Health Biobank GCC is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to join its laboratory team in Dubai. The role focuses on stem cell processing and cell culture within a regulated environment, requiring high standards of quality, documentation, and technical performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cell culture and related laboratory procedures in accordance with approved SOPs.
• Carry out cord blood processing, blood banking, and associated laboratory activities.
• Support stem cell and tissue processing, including sample preparation, cryopreservation, storage, and handling.
• Execute laboratory procedures using appropriate aseptic techniques.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory equipment following established procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation, sample identification, traceability, and record keeping.
• Follow laboratory quality management systems, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality control, equipment qualification, validation activities, and laboratory audits.
• Identify, document, and report deviations, non‑conformities, and incidents as required.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory cleanliness, organization, safety, and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Valid DHA professional license or DHA eligibility.
• Strong hands‑on experience in cell culture; experience in stem cell processing, blood banking or cord blood processing preferred.
• Good understanding of laboratory quality systems, SOPs, documentation traceability and Good Documentation Practices.
