Medical Receptionist

About the role

IIQAF Group is looking for a professional, friendly, and organized Medical Receptionist to manage front‑desk and administrative operations in its Dubai hospital. The role involves welcoming patients, handling appointments, and supporting the medical and nursing teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients, visitors, and families in a courteous manner.
• Manage the reception desk, ensuring efficient check‑in and registration of new and returning patients.
• Verify patient information, identification, contact details, and appointment data.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed.
• Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly.
• Provide accurate information about appointments, departments, physicians, and hospital services.
• Coordinate patient appointments with doctors, nurses, specialists, and diagnostic departments.
• Process administrative documents, correspondence, and patient‑related paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Assist with emergency or urgent patient reception procedures according to hospital protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certificate in Medical/Healthcare Administration is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a busy hospital reception environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and patient‑focused approach.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
