Medical Representative Intern (UAE National)

About the role

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Medical Representative Intern to join its Sales team in the UAE. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced sales professionals who will guide you through hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The role suits fresh graduates and offers early development within a regional operating unit covering several countries.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in training and sell-skills development.
• Learn from Sales and Marketing professionals to run effective Sales Action Plans that maximise business in the assigned district and meet district sales targets.
• Plan and schedule daily visits to existing and potential customers to deliver the assigned core product message.
• Record and track product sales and customers in the assigned region.
• Collect customer feedback on product performance and monitor activity.
• Support the execution of marketing plans.
• Prepare sales reports for management review and a monthly forecasting sheet based on historical data and targets.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate with a degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or a related life sciences field.
• Valid UAE driver's licence (actively driving).
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.

Required skills

• Extensive experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Desired: strong interpersonal skills, digital proficiency, ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information, presentation skills, teamwork and ability to follow through on priorities.
