About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specialized in Oncology to represent the affiliate’s scientific expertise across the Gulf region. The MSL will serve as a key medical resource, providing scientific exchange and building professional relationships with external experts.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an active member of the brand team, supporting overall strategy and execution.
• Provide medical and scientific input into marketing strategy and commercial initiatives.
• Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of assigned products and therapeutic area through internal training, congresses, and self‑study.
• Offer expert medical advice, respond to scientific queries, and contribute to the accuracy of core dossiers such as pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, and medical information packs.
• Establish and maintain credible relationships with External Experts and academic centers, including participation in scientific congresses and coordination of advisory boards.
• Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals.
• Screen relevant literature and conference information, summarizing key scientific messages for internal use.
