Member of Technical Staff – Coding Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to join a leading software research team on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on advanced research and development of coding solutions, algorithms, and systems that enable scalable, high‑performance computing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep research on programming languages, compilers, and runtime systems to improve performance.
• Design and implement novel algorithms for code analysis, transformation, and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate research outcomes into production‑grade systems.
• Publish findings at academic or industry conferences and contribute to open‑source projects.
• Develop prototypes and proofs‑of‑concept to validate theoretical research in practical applications.

Required profile

• Strong computer science background with focus on programming languages, compilers, or runtime systems.
• Experience with static and dynamic program analysis techniques.
• Ability to conduct independent research and translate ideas into technical solutions.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
