MEP Engineer for Swimming Pool & Landscape Projects

About the role

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, testing and hand‑over of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for swimming pools and landscape water features. You will work closely with architects, civil engineers and the construction team to ensure seamless integration of all MEP services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse architectural drawings and perform hydraulic, electrical load and water‑demand calculations to size pumps, filters, piping, transformers and irrigation systems.
• Prepare technical submittals and detailed shop drawings for pumps, filters, heaters, lighting and irrigation controllers, securing consultant and client approvals.
• Supervise on‑site installation, ensuring compliance with DEWA and Dubai Municipality regulations and conducting regular quality inspections.
• Lead testing, commissioning and calibration of all MEP equipment, balancing water flow and programming control systems.
• Produce hand‑over documentation including as‑built drawings, O&M manuals and warranties, and train client maintenance staff.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or junior engineer with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or MEP Engineering.
• Strong business communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Dubai and handle technical problem‑solving during construction.

Required skills

• Hydraulic calculations for pool and water‑feature systems.
• Electrical load calculations and transformer sizing.
• Water‑demand calculations for irrigation.
• Preparation of MEP shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Knowledge of DEWA and Dubai Municipality standards.
