MEP Engineer

About the role

The MEP Engineer will ensure the reliability, efficiency and regulatory compliance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across our facilities. You will play a key part in maintaining safe, comfortable and sustainable built environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute maintenance plans for MEP systems, scheduling inspections, repairs and preventive tasks.
• Provide technical support to facility teams, diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimise downtime.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor asset condition and identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with external contractors, manage vendor contracts and monitor performance.
• Implement energy‑management strategies to optimise HVAC, lighting and power distribution, tracking consumption and recommending improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment specifications, maintenance history and warranties.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and procurement to align MEP activities with overall facility objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in MEP engineering or facility maintenance.
• Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Excellent communication, project‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, respond to emergencies and ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
