MEP In‑Charge – High Rise Construction

About the role

The MEP In‑Charge will lead all mechanical, electrical and plumbing activities on high‑rise building projects. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the proper installation, testing and commissioning of all MEP systems while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural and consultancy teams to align schedules and resolve design clashes.
• Supervise on‑site installations of HVAC, fire‑protection, electrical distribution, water supply and drainage systems.
• Manage subcontractors, conduct regular quality inspections and enforce safety protocols.
• Handle permits, inspections and liaison with regulatory authorities.
• Prepare progress reports, as‑built drawings and operation manuals for handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–9 years of experience in building construction, with at least 5 years in an MEP supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience on complex high‑rise projects, preferably with contracting firms.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations and industry standards.
