Merchandiser – Building Materials (Dubai)

About the role

Our client, an international manufacturer of plumbing and building materials, is looking for a proactive Merchandiser to boost product visibility and drive sales across the UAE. The role involves managing in‑store presence, building relationships with installers, and generating leads for wholesale partners.

Key responsibilities

• Visit retail and trade stores daily to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.
• Develop and maintain relationships with small‑scale installers and trade partners.
• Capture market intelligence and identify opportunities to increase volume and sales of MEP and plumbing solutions.
• Generate and pass qualified leads to wholesale partners and the wider sales team.
• Report store activities and performance using CRM tools.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of merchandising experience, preferably in construction materials, plumbing or sanitaryware.
• Good understanding of the UAE retail, trade and distribution landscape.
• Familiarity with MEP, plumbing and heating systems is highly desirable.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Fluent in English; good command of Indian dialects.
