MICE Sales Manager – Wedding Specialist

About the role

The MICE Sales Manager – Wedding Specialist will drive new business and revenue across MICE, weddings and non‑residential events, with a strong focus on Indian destination weddings and other international markets at the InterContinental Fujairah Resort.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for MICE, weddings and events in line with commercial objectives.
• Identify and acquire new business through corporate accounts, wedding planners, event agencies, DMCs and strategic partners.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry through proposal, negotiation, contracting and handover.
• Maximise revenue from rooms, F&B, banqueting, venue rental and ancillary services.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and the Director of Sales & Marketing on pricing and profitability.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, conduct client visits and participate in roadshows and exhibitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, Sales or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hotel sales, preferably MICE, weddings or events.
• Strong business development and account management skills.
• Knowledge of destination weddings, especially the Indian market.
• Excellent spoken and written English, proactive and target‑driven.
