Mill Sales Manager

About the role

Valmet is looking for a Mill Sales Manager to join its team in Abu Dhabi. You will drive growth and improve customer experience by focusing on service sales for the Packaging and Paper Business Area, acting as the single point of contact for the whole mill or assigned production lines. The role involves frequent travel across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and book orders across the business area in line with established sales processes
• Lead and support customer negotiations
• Promote Valmet's lifecycle solutions and service, helping customers choose the right options
• Build trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders
• Collect and monitor customer feedback and satisfaction
• Handle high-priority requests and escalations, keeping claim progress in communication
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of installed base data and market trends
• Support corporate-level account management strategies
• Coordinate mill shutdown-restart schedules and service clock planning
• Lead mill teams or hubs, for example through quarterly meetings
• Work with product managers, field services and spare parts teams to create new business opportunities

Required profile

• Degree in Paper Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in paper mills
• Strong understanding of the pulp, paper and board industry
• Excellent command of English and Arabic
• Valid driving licence
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region
