Minibar Attendant

About the role

The Minibar Attendant ensures a positive guest experience by managing the in‑room refreshment centre. This role involves inventory control, restocking, and coordination with the team to maintain cleanliness and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and support the team of Mini Bar/Refreshment Center Attendants.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Maintain inventory of refreshment items, accessories, and promotional materials, and replace as needed.
• Record sales using the computer system and restock bars according to instructions.
• Monitor product availability, expiration dates, and inventory levels to avoid stock‑outs.
• Assign guest rooms to attendants via software and ensure notes are communicated to management.
• Prepare daily inventory lists, restocking carts, and deliver them to floor locations.
• Place emergency orders with suppliers when required.
• Respond to guest requests and route them to the appropriate attendant.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
