Minibar In-Charge – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Minibar In‑Charge ensures that all guest‑room minibars are fully stocked, accurately inventoried, and billed in line with Fairmont’s luxury service standards. Reporting to the Outlet Manager, this role plays a key part in delivering a seamless guest experience while driving revenue from minibar sales.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support Minibar Attendants during daily operations.
• Plan and assign replenishment schedules based on occupancy and room status.
• Maintain minibar stock at approved par levels and monitor product quality, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts, investigate discrepancies and control wastage.
• Ensure accurate posting of minibar consumption to guest accounts and coordinate billing with Front Office and Finance.
• Prepare beverage and snack requisitions, maintain adequate stock levels and manage POS system usage.
• Train team members on SOPs, hygiene, safety, HACCP compliance and luxury service standards.
• Handle guest enquiries or complaints related to minibar service professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of minibar experience in a luxury hotel, including supervisory exposure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work flexible shifts.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and POS systems.
