Minibar Runner – Housekeeping

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Minibar Runner to join its Housekeeping team. The role involves servicing minibars in hotel rooms and suites, ensuring accurate stock and consumption recording, and supporting overall housekeeping operations.

Key responsibilities

• Service all minibars within hotel rooms and suites.
• Perform stock taking of minibar items and maintain accurate records.
• Post correct minibar consumption charges to guest folios.
• Conduct regular checks of expiry dates and product quality.
• Monitor operating supplies, reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Execute opening and closing procedures for the minibar area.
• Carry out additional duties requested by management.

Required profile

• Senior High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality diploma is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a luxury hotel environment, preferably in housekeeping.
• Experience in the Middle East or hotel pre‑opening projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with HotSOS system is a plus.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and work overnight as needed.
