Mixologist - Studios Banquets

About the role

W Hotels is hiring a Mixologist for its Studios Banquets venue in Dubai Marina. The role is full-time and non-management, focused on delivering a memorable and unique drinking experience. Bartenders are expected to go beyond the bar itself, take ownership of guest service and build relationships across the hotel and in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Mix drinks and keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly
• Stay up to date with new trends and micro-local offerings, and adapt to guests' evolving needs
• Build relationships with colleagues and the community to anticipate and meet guest needs
• Handle cash accurately and give guests accurate information
• Follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality and present a professional uniform and appearance
• Work on your feet and move around, lifting and carrying objects of up to 25 pounds and reaching overhead and below the knees

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• No supervisory experience required
• Passion for the guest service experience and attention to detail
