ML QA Engineer

About the role

Inception42 is seeking a QA Engineer to validate AI‑enabled financial applications and enterprise platforms. You will design and execute both manual and automated tests, turning product requirements into measurable acceptance criteria and providing clear evidence of product quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute risk‑based test plans covering functional, integration, regression, usability, accessibility and performance testing.
• Validate AI behavior, conversational experiences, document ingestion, retrieval workflows and AI‑driven orchestration against approved scenarios.
• Build and maintain automation for UI, API, integration and data validation using established frameworks.
• Integrate automated smoke and regression tests into CI/CD pipelines and provide timely feedback.
• Own defect documentation, triage, retesting and root‑cause collaboration, converting production findings into stronger test coverage.

Required profile

• Strong software quality fundamentals with experience testing web or cloud applications across UI, API and end‑to‑end workflows.
• Hands‑on experience building automated tests using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured or Postman.
• Proficiency in at least one test‑automation language (Python, TypeScript or Java) and strong SQL skills.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery and cloud‑based environments.
• Understanding of AI concepts (prompts, conversational context, retrieval‑augmented generation) or ability to learn quickly.
