Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (Key Stages 2‑5)

About the role

GEMS Royal Dubai School is expanding its campus and seeks a passionate Modern Foreign Languages teacher to join the team in September 2026. You will teach across Key Stages 2 and 3 initially, progressing to Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering a high‑quality British curriculum experience for a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons for Key Stages 2‑5, ensuring alignment with the NCfE framework.
• Use student data to monitor progress, personalise learning pathways and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to a culture of academic excellence.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of exam boards, pathways and assessment requirements for Key Stages 4‑5.
• Demonstrate leadership impact by supporting peers and contributing to school‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Recognised UK teaching qualification with QTS.
• Self‑motivated, dynamic and committed to high standards for all learners.
• Proven track record of raising attainment and driving excellence.
• Reflective, solution‑focused mindset with a high‑performance attitude.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge of two modern foreign language subjects.
• In‑depth understanding of exam boards and pathways at Key Stages 4 and 5.
• Ability to analyse and act on student data to optimise progress.
• Effective leadership and collaborative skills.
