About the role

GEMS Education is seeking a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join its School of Research and Innovation in Dubai, starting in January 2027. The role involves delivering an engaging, research‑informed curriculum that builds linguistic proficiency, cultural awareness, and global citizenship among students from Pre‑Prep to Sixth Form.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver immersive language lessons using inquiry‑based and technology‑enhanced approaches.
• Integrate interdisciplinary connections and real‑world applications to deepen cultural understanding.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support academic achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative learning experiences across the curriculum.
• Utilise school facilities such as the innovation lab, VR/AR tools, and robotics resources to enrich language instruction.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and experience in modern foreign languages.
• Passion for fostering curiosity, independence, and enthusiasm for languages.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering language instruction using digital tools and platforms.
