Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor

About the role

Copernicus is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor in Dubai who believes content should be impactful and engaging. You will work closely with the creative team to craft motion content and videos that capture attention and bring ideas to life.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging motion graphics and animations for digital, social and campaign content
• Work closely with creative and content teams to turn ideas into motion
• Develop storyboards and visual directions for animations and videos
• Edit video content, adding effects, transitions and sound to enhance storytelling
• Make sure all motion outputs follow brand guidelines and campaign objectives
• Keep up with design trends, tools and animation techniques
• Manage several projects while meeting tight deadlines

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience in motion graphics or video editing
• Strong sense of timing, storytelling and visual composition
• Basic understanding of sound design and video formats
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly, with attention to detail and a creative mindset
• Portfolio showing motion and video work

Required skills

• Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro and other relevant software
• Motion graphics and video editing
