Motor Underwriting Analyst – Dubai

About the role

The successful candidate will organise and analyse data, maintain systematic computerized records related to premiums, and ensure efficient control over the company's motor underwriting business.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite motor insurance applications in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle day‑to‑day underwriting functions promptly, adhering to prescribed guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor client risk management, claims history and other relevant information to determine coverage and premium rates.
• Scrutinise new submissions, analyse risk according to underwriting guidelines, and support underwriting decisions.
• Ensure new and renewal policy documents, terms & conditions, endorsements and service requests are processed accurately and delivered within defined KPIs.
• Provide the highest standard of customer experience to business partners and clients.

Required profile

• Holding a relevant university degree or general insurance qualification.
• 0–3 years of experience in motor underwriting or similar responsibilities.
• Technical knowledge of motor retail and fleet underwriting operations.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and agreed turnaround times.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook and internet applications.
